My blog has passed its sixth-month birthday. When my sister talked me into starting it I was convinced I would have nothing to say. I've published more posts than I would have thought possible, but I'm still not sure I'm saying anything of importance. It's a good forum for the occasional musing, sharing photos, letting off steam, communicating with my family, and remembering Mom. I'll see where I am in another six months.January 2011
I've reached middle age without quite knowing how I got here. The journey so far has been "epic," to say the least. I'm looking forward to the rest of it. I'm an inland sea sprite who must have been separated from the ocean at birth, and I haven't yet figured out how to get back. I love my family, those that are here and those that have gone before, my cat (and the ones that have gone before), my camera (Nikon D80 dSLR), lighthouses, researching my family tree, and photographing and documenting local cemeteries for Find A Grave. I'm sure you'll be hearing more about all of these in my blog posts.
